“Great things in business are never done by one person; they are done by a team of people”
September was a great month for us as the Optiven Family. It was a time for us to assess the achievements we have realized in the last nine months and plan ahead on the last quarter of the year 2026. Overally, we are on course as an organization, impacting both internally and externally in equal measure.
Internally, we celebrated the fourth cohort of our staff who had been undergoing an intensive internal training for personal improvement under Opal, with a superb graduation ceremony. Staff improvement remains a core part of our onboarding and maintanance process as Optiven. Externally, we were in the diaspora.
Optiven in Uganda
In Uganda where we met with our investors courtesy of our Special Envoy in Kampala. It was also a time to rekindle old engagements while at the same time empowering the diaspora in Uganda on investments in Kenya. We are grateful for the honor of being pioneers at the launch of Business Network Uganda in collaboration with the office of the Kenyan High Commissioner to Uganda, H. E. Ababu Namwamba. It was a privilege leading Team Optiven to Uganda for the BNU Conference this September 2026.
Engaging Investors at Nigerian High Commision
From high-level discussions on regional investment to meaningful connections with visionary entrepreneurs, this journey highlighted the endless opportunities across East Africa. We were also able to engage with investors during the welcoming ceremony for H.E. Danlami Ibrahim who is the new Nigerian High Commissioner to Kenya.
Renewing partnership with NCBA Bank
As we continue the roll out of our strategy for the year 2030, we celebrated a number of international days that are in tandem with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, we also onboarded a brand new non-executive board to steer the corporate ambitions forward under the 2030 corporate strategy. We also renewed our partnership with NCBA bank – banking on the successful outcomes of our engagement.
As we move into October, we continue to deepend our resilience and sharpen our focus to catalyse the value that we offer to all our stakeholders. Happy October from all of us at the Optiven Group
