All geared up to Mark Earth Day 2021

I vividly recall it as though it was yesterday, when my daughter and I were all geared up to save our planet during the commemoration of Earth Day in the year 2016.

Five years later, the young – but considerably more grown – girl is more than eager to do it again! And I can’t wait to be by her side as we join the World in celebrating the Earth Day, an event that is marked every year on April 22. The day also marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970 today.

This movement can only be exemplified by the ‘Go Green Na Optiven’ movement, and this happen every years to sensitize the World on the need of safeguarding our earth from attacks of pollution, smoke, oil spills, electronics waste, plastic menace, deforestation, sewer waste amongst other challenges.

From April 20 to April 22, join our leaders from the Global, national and local level as we celebrate the Earth Day 2021. More importantly, we are also encouraging both families and estates to participate. Together, we can prevent imminent disasters of climate change and environmental destruction from happening.

Indeed, together we can help restore our Earth. It’s all about you and me. Importantly, just ask yourself what you are doing right where you are: In your estate, at your organization or in your house. Here at Optiven, we will all be meeting at Amani Ridge the Place of Peace and put a mark on this great day.

Join us, as we also introduce our families into this great movement. In 2016, I introduced my daughter to this movement and she is now the one who was reminding others in the neighbourhood about this day happening in few days.
